Splatter

Pool inspired design for contemporary kitchen-diner

This striking splashback was commissioned for a contemporary kitchen-diner opening
onto a patio and pool. Designed to echo the shimmering colours of the water, it connects
the outdoor space with the granite worktops and sleek fixtures inside. I achieved the
pool-like effect by blending nine shades of granulated glass, graduating from dark to light
to suggest depth and movement. The result is fresh, dynamic, and full of energy – and
because it’s abstract, this design can be adapted to suit any colour scheme.

Dimensions: 700mm x 900mm.
