Kingfisher

The inspiration for this design came from a greetings card cherished by my client. Though the kingfisher is small, it is life-size and holds its own beautifully within the composition. Its vivid colours are brought to life against the surrounding tones, and the wall colour was chosen to perfectly complement the design, making the finished splashback both a striking feature and a deeply personal artwork.
