Interior design focus work

This long narrow piece was made for a customers’ hall way. It is made from multiple pieces of overlapping opaque and transparent glass. The red, orange and purple create a rich effect and it was fired in the kiln at a slightly lower temperature to retain the texture of the individual glass pieces. The colours are lifted by the occasional sparkle of dichroic glass, which catches the light at different viewing angles.
