Coloured glass overlay

The effect of depth is achieved with strips of coloured glass overlaid to create new colours – a little like layers of tissue paper. In this work, the glass is green suggesting the flow of a river but it works very effectively in other colour combinations to form a purely abstract design. The surrounding clear glass background makes it possible to create a larger piece of artwork in an affordable way.
